When booking the free walking tour, please note there's a nominal fee of 4$
($3.49 + plus sales taxes TPS 5% 0.17$ / TVQ 9.97% 0.35$)
This fee is not only vital for the upkeep and enhancement of my website and booking system but also acts as a guarantee for your reserved spot while helping to minimize no-shows.Please note that the booking fee is not part the donation to the guide at the end of the tour.

By participating in the tour, you're not just embarking on a journey through our city's rich history and culture but it also making a meaningful contribution to our community. 0.75$ of the fee is directed towards supporting a local nonprofit organization I proudly endorse called La Bouchée Généreuse in Limoilou.

La Bouchée Généreuse is dedicated to addressing food insecurity and social inequality within our community. Through various initiatives such as food recycling programs, community grocery stores, optician services, and thrift shops, they provide essential support to over 1,000 families in need.

Your contribution through the booking fee not only supports our local community but also helps newcomers establish themselves here. Thank you for being part of our tour, and at the end of the year, your donation will be given. Recognizing that not everyone has the opportunity to travel, your participation in our tour allows us to lend a helping hand to those in need, ensuring that the positive impact of tourism reaches even those who may not have the chance to explore.

Booking Terms and Conditions:

Reservation Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a valid deposit, as specified at the time of booking.Once the booking and payment are completed, you will receive an email at the provided email address. If you do not receive it, please notify us as soon as possible. Occasionally, errors in email addresses can occur. If payment has been made, rest assured that we will retrieve your booking and provide confirmation to your correct email address.
Rates – Applicable sales taxes are excluded unless otherwise indicated. All prices are in Canadian dollars. We reserve the right to modify the prices of products offered on the Site at any time without prior notice.
Booking Modifications: Changes to your booking, including tour date, time, or number of participants, are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please notify us as soon as possible regarding any modifications to your reservation.
Cancellation by Participant: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour are subject to no refund.
Cancellation by Tour Operator: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, insufficient bookings, or other factors beyond our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Late Arrival: We kindly request that participants arrive at the meeting point at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time. Late arrivals may result in missing the tour departure without refund.The tour start on time like when you go at the cinema.
Minimum Participant Requirement: Tours are subject to a minimum number of participants. In the event that the minimum requirement is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. You will be notified in advance, and alternative arrangements or a full refund will be provided.
Health and Safety: Participants with pre-existing medical conditions, mobility issues, or other concerns that may impact their ability to participate fully in the tour are advised to notify us at the time of booking. While we strive to accommodate all articipants, please be aware that some tours may involve walking long distances or navigating uneven terrain.
Acknowledgment of Risks: By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with walking tours. While we prioritize safety, it's important to recognize that accidents may occur, and absolute safety cannot be guaranteed. Participants assume responsibility for their safety during the tour. We urge you to be vigilant of potential risks and exercise caution throughout the tour. Please note that the tour guide is not liable for injuries resulting from participants' deviation from the walking path, engaging in running, or other risky behaviors during the tour. It is essential that participants prioritize personal safety by paying attention when crossing roads, being mindful of cyclists, and remaining vigilant of hazards such as loose paving stones and winter ice. The walking path predominantly utilizes sidewalks and public locations. This acknowledgment serves to inform you of potential risks; it is not a waiver of liability. It's worth noting that we have not experienced any accidents during our tours in the past nine years, and we aim to maintain this record of safety going forward.
Emergency Intervention Authorization: I authorize the tour guide to decide, in case of an accident, to call an ambulance to a hospital or community health facility, at my own expense if necessary.
Payment free walking tour booking fee: A non-refundable booking fee* of $3.48 + taxes ($4.00 total) secures your spot on our free walking tour. $0.75 of this fee supports La Bouchée Généreuse, aiding the local community.
* Customers will receive a full refund or credit if canceled with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of tour cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Payment and donation: Payment for paid tours can be made online through our secure booking platform.
We accept donation cash payments in persons for the free walking tourby major credit cards (via paypal) .
Please note that the booking fee is not part the donation to the guide on the free walking tour.
Tour Inclusions: Please review the tour description carefully to understand what is included in the tour. Additional expenses incurred during the tour are the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise specified.
Tour Exclusions: Items not included in the tour package, such as meals, transportation to/from the meeting point, and personal expenses, are the responsibility of the participant unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Privacy Policy: We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use your personal information for the purpose of processing your booking and providing you with relevant tour updates. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent.
Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, governmental actions, war, terrorism, or labor disputes.
Participant Conduct: We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a manner that respects local customs, fellow participants, and the environment. Disruptive behavior, including but not limited to excessive noise, littering, or disrespect towards others, Racism will not be tolerated. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for everyone on the tour.We kindly ask participants to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Depending on the forecast, the tour may or may not include indoor stops, so please come prepared for varying temperatures. We also recommend using the restroom before the tour begins and bringing a water bottle if needed.
There no bathroom stop during the free walking tour.
